Here you witness the birth of something new. Something that I never dreamed I would see the creation of. And yet somehow, simply feels like it has always been my path.

As my writing grows and I strive to finish writing my first novel, I made the decision that I will self publish. I prefer the creative control of setting my own destiny. I present to you my creation, Lykos Publishing, LLC!

Lykos? What is Lykos, and what does it mean? Publishing is obvious, but what precedes it?

As I have had a passion for reading the written word from a very young age, I have stumbled across many fields of interest while burying my head in a book. One of those interests that has always held my fascination is Greek mythology. I have always loved immersing myself in the other world filled with gods, goddesses, and the conflicts between them and our world down here on earth. One of my favorite authors is Homer. I would constantly lose myself in his journeys of The Odyssey and The Iliad. Thus, I find the language of the Greeks fascinating as well.

Another of my great passions, is the wolf. I have loved this animal ever since I can remember. Recently, I have become greatly involved as a dedicated volunteer at a wolf research and education park where I get to spend my time amidst the wondrous grey wolf.

Lykos is the Greek word for wolf. See, wasn’t that easy? Combining two fascinations into one!

Lykos Publishing is in its beginning stages. I am definitely learning as I go, as self publishing is very new to me. Come along on my journey as I stumble along the road!
